What is Past participle of the word lie?

The past participle of "lie" (meaning to recline or rest) is lain.

* Present: lie

* Past: lay

* Past Participle: lain

For example:

* I lie down for a nap every afternoon.

* I lay down on the couch yesterday.

* I have lain in bed all day.

Note: There is another verb "lie" meaning to tell a falsehood. This verb has a different past participle: "lied".
