Does an adjective describe a verb and adverb describes noun?

That's not quite right! Here's how it works:

* Adjectives describe nouns. They tell us more about the noun's qualities, characteristics, or state.

* Example: "The red car" (Red describes the noun "car")

* Adverbs describe verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. They tell us more about how, when, where, or to what extent something is done.

* Example: "He walked quickly." (Quickly describes the verb "walked")

* Example: "She is extremely happy." (Extremely describes the adjective "happy")

* Example: "The dog ran very fast." (Very describes the adverb "fast")

Think of it this way:

* Adjectives are like adding color and details to a picture.

* Adverbs are like adding motion and intensity to a scene.
