Is the word actually a verb?

The word "actually" is not a verb. It is an adverb.

Adverbs modify verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. They provide information about how, when, where, or to what extent something happens.

For example:

* Actually, I don't like pizza. (modifies the verb "like")

* It's actually a very good movie. (modifies the adjective "good")

* He ran actually fast. (modifies the adverb "fast")
