What are the different subject pronouns?

Here are the subject pronouns in English:

Singular:

* I (used when referring to yourself)

* You (used when referring to the person or people you are talking to)

* He (used when referring to a male person)

* She (used when referring to a female person)

* It (used when referring to an object, an animal, or an idea)

Plural:

* We (used when referring to yourself and at least one other person)

* You (used when referring to the people you are talking to)

* They (used when referring to more than one person or thing)

Remember: Subject pronouns are used when the pronoun is the subject of the verb in a sentence.

Examples:
