How many idioms can you fit in one sentence?

This is a bit of a tricky challenge! Idioms are often quite long and complex, making it hard to fit many in a single sentence without it becoming nonsensical or repetitive. However, here's an attempt:

"It's raining cats and dogs outside, so I'm going to stay put and let the storm blow over, but I'll be out of here like a shot once the sun comes out and we can all have a whale of a time."

This sentence includes:

* raining cats and dogs: heavy rain

* stay put: remain in place

* blow over: pass without serious consequences

* out of here like a shot: leave quickly

* have a whale of a time: enjoy oneself greatly

Let me know if you want to try a different approach!
