What three parts of speech adverbs talk about?

Adverbs don't "talk about" specific parts of speech. Instead, they modify, or give more information about, other parts of speech, primarily:

1. Verbs: Adverbs describe how, when, where, or to what extent an action is performed.

* Example: "The cat quickly ran across the yard." (Quickly modifies the verb "ran").

2. Adjectives: Adverbs can enhance the description provided by an adjective.

* Example: "The extremely tall building was a landmark." (Extremely modifies the adjective "tall").

3. Other adverbs: Adverbs can modify other adverbs, adding further detail.

* Example: "He walked very slowly." (Very modifies the adverb "slowly").

While adverbs mainly modify these three categories, they can occasionally modify phrases or entire clauses as well, depending on the context.
