Conjunction Examples:

Coordinating Conjunctions (FANBOYS):

* For: He studied hard for the exam.

* And: She went to the store and bought some milk.

* Yet: The sun was shining, yet it was cold.

Subordinating Conjunctions:

* As: As she walked, she hummed a tune.

* Because: He stayed home because he was sick.

* Before: Before she went to bed, she brushed her teeth.

* Even though: Even though he was afraid, he jumped into the pool.

* Unless: We can't go to the park unless the rain stops.

Correlative Conjunctions:

* Both...and: Both the dog and the cat were asleep.

* Either...or: Either you can go to the movies or you can stay home.

* Neither...nor: Neither the dog nor the cat wanted to go for a walk.

* Not only...but also: Not only is she smart, but also she's very kind.

* Whether...or: Whether you go or not, it's up to you.
