Why is verb used in a sentence?

Verbs are the heart of a sentence! They are essential because they:

* Show action: They tell us what is happening, what someone is doing, or what something is experiencing.

* Example: *The dog barks loudly.* (The action is "barks")

* Describe a state of being: They can express a condition or state of existence.

* Example: *The sky is blue.* (The state of being is "is blue")

* Connect the subject to the rest of the sentence: They link the subject (who or what is doing the action) to the object or other information in the sentence.

* Example: *The cat purrs happily.* (The subject "cat" performs the action "purrs")

Without verbs, sentences would be incomplete and meaningless. They provide the dynamism, the action, and the connection between the subject and the rest of the sentence.
