What do you say after your teacher como estas?

Here are some appropriate responses to your teacher's "Como estas?" (How are you?):

Formal & Polite:

* Bien, gracias. ¿Y usted? (Good, thank you. And you?) - This is the most common and polite response.

* Estoy bien, gracias. ¿Y usted? (I am well, thank you. And you?)

* Muy bien, gracias. ¿Y usted? (Very well, thank you. And you?)

* Todo bien, gracias. ¿Y usted? (Everything is good, thank you. And you?)

Informal & Friendly (If you have a close relationship with your teacher):

* Bien, ¿y tú? (Good, and you?)

* Estoy bien, gracias. ¿Y tú? (I am well, thank you. And you?)

* Genial, ¿y tú? (Great, and you?)

If you're not feeling great:

* No estoy muy bien, pero gracias por preguntar. (I'm not feeling great, but thank you for asking.)

* Un poco cansado/a, pero bien. ¿Y usted? (A little tired, but okay. And you?)
