What part of speech is cliche?

"Cliché" can be two different parts of speech:

* Noun: When "cliché" refers to an overused phrase or expression, it is a noun.

* Example: "He used a cliché about time flying by."

* Adjective: When "cliché" describes something as overused or unoriginal, it is an adjective.

* Example: "His speech was full of cliché phrases."

So, the part of speech depends on its use in the sentence.
