What does an imperactive sentence end with?

An imperative sentence ends with a period (.).

While imperative sentences often express a command or request, they don't always need an exclamation mark (!). The exclamation mark is used for emphasis, but it's not required for a sentence to be grammatically correct.

Here are some examples:

* Close the door. (command)

* Please pass the salt. (request)

* Let's go to the park. (suggestion)

All of these sentences are imperative and end with a period.
