What punctuation do you use around something someone has said?

You use quotation marks (" ") around something someone has said.

Here are some examples:

* "I'm going to the store," she said.

* "What are you doing?" he asked.

* "It's a beautiful day," she exclaimed.

Important Note: If you are quoting something that is longer than one sentence, you should use double quotation marks at the beginning and end of the entire quote.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
