Subject and object are the same:
* Myself: I made myself a sandwich.
* Yourself: You should treat yourself to a break.
* Himself: He hurt himself playing soccer.
* Herself: She surprised herself with her singing talent.
* Itself: The cat cleaned itself.
* Ourselves: We built the house ourselves.
* Yourselves: You all should take care of yourselves.
* Themselves: The children played with themselves for hours.
Used for emphasis:
* Myself: I did it myself, not with any help.
* Yourself: You yourself said you wanted to go.
* Himself: He himself admitted the mistake.
* Herself: She herself wrote that article.
* Itself: The book itself was quite boring.
* Ourselves: We ourselves knew the truth all along.
* Yourselves: You yourselves chose this path.
* Themselves: The students themselves organized the event.
Important Note: Reflexive pronouns are used when the action of the verb is reflected back on the subject. They are not used as the object of a preposition unless the subject is also the object of the preposition.
Incorrect: "He gave the book to myself." (Use "me")
Correct: "He gave the book to me."
