The Old Bookstore
The bell above the door chimed a gentle melody as I stepped inside, a warm wave of musty paper and aged leather washing over me. Sunlight streamed through the dusty window, illuminating motes of dust dancing in the air.
Rows upon rows of books, their spines a kaleidoscope of colors and titles, stretched to the very back of the shop. Some were bound in worn leather, their pages yellowed and brittle with age. Others were sturdy hardcovers, their spines still crisp and new.
