What do all adverbs end in?

Adverbs don't all end in a specific letter or combination of letters. They can end in a variety of ways. Here are some common endings for adverbs:

* -ly: This is the most common ending for adverbs, often formed by adding "-ly" to an adjective (e.g., quick -> quickly, happy -> happily).

* -wards: This ending indicates direction (e.g., backwards, forwards, upwards).

* -wise: This ending often means "in the manner of" (e.g., clockwise, lengthwise, otherwise).

* -ways: This ending also indicates manner or direction (e.g., sideways, anyways).

However, many adverbs don't end in any of these suffixes. Some adverbs are single words (e.g., now, very, always, never, here, there) while others are phrases (e.g., very much, in a hurry, all of a sudden).
