Compound Sentence Examples:

1. Using "and":

* The sun was shining, and the birds were singing.

* She went to the store, and she bought some groceries.

* He finished his homework, and he went to bed.

2. Using "but":

* I wanted to go to the party, but I was too tired.

* The movie was good, but it was a little too long.

* He tried to open the door, but it was locked.

3. Using "or":

* You can have cake, or you can have ice cream.

* He could go to college, or he could start working.

* We can watch a movie, or we can go for a walk.

4. Using "so":

* It was raining, so I stayed inside.

* He was hungry, so he went to the kitchen.

* She was tired, so she took a nap.

5. Using "for":
