What 3 parts must a complete sentence have?

A complete sentence must have these three parts:

1. Subject: This is the person, place, or thing that the sentence is about. It tells us *who* or *what* is doing or being something.

2. Verb: This is the action word or state of being in the sentence. It tells us *what* the subject is doing or *what* is happening to the subject.

3. Complete Thought: The sentence must express a complete idea. It should be clear and understandable on its own, without needing anything else added to it.
