Are titles of plays underlined or put in quotations?

Titles of plays are italicized.

Here are some examples:

* *Hamlet*

* *A Streetcar Named Desire*

* *The Crucible*

* *Waiting for Godot*

Note: While some style guides used to recommend underlining, that practice is now outdated. Italics are the standard way to format play titles.
