What are the guide words from dictionary?

The guide words in a dictionary are the words that appear at the top of each page, telling you the first and last words listed on that page. They help you quickly find the word you're looking for without having to flip through the entire dictionary.

For example, if the guide words on a page are "car" and "cat", then all the words on that page will be alphabetically between "car" and "cat".
