What is mention in tagalog?

The Tagalog word for "mention" is banggit (pronounced "bang-git").

Here are some examples of how to use it:

* Binanggit niya ang pangalan mo. (He mentioned your name.)

* Hindi ko binanggit ang tungkol sa problema. (I didn't mention anything about the problem.)

* Banggitin mo naman ang pangalan ng paaralan. (Please mention the name of the school.)

Note: There is also another word, tungkol (pronounced "toong-kol"), which means "about" or "regarding." It can be used in place of "mention" when talking about something that is mentioned or discussed:

* Tungkol saan ang usapan ninyo? (What are you talking about?)

* Tungkol sa trabaho ang usapan namin. (We were talking about work.)
