Who-what-when-where why poems for kids?

The Lost Puppy

Who: A little brown puppy named Finn

What: He ran away, a playful spin

When: One sunny afternoon, bright and bold

Where: Through the park, a story untold

Why: He saw a squirrel, a fluffy brown tail,

And chased after it, a furry trail!

The Rainy Day

Who: A happy ladybug named Dot

What: She wanted to play, but she could not

When: On a dreary day, with rain so gray

Where: In the garden, she wished to stay

Why: The rain was falling, a watery scene,

And Dot couldn't fly, her wings were unseen

The Birthday Cake

Who: Little Lily, so sweet and small

What: Celebrated her birthday, a joyful call

When: On a special day, with friends galore

Where: At her house, by the open door

Why: It was her birthday, a time for glee,

With cake and candles, for all to see!

The Sleepy Bear

Who: A grumpy bear, with fur so thick

What: He yawned and stretched, with a sleepy click

When: In the wintertime, with snow so deep

Where: In his cozy den, he fell asleep

Why: He was tired from playing, a long, fun day,

And needed a nap, to hibernate away.
