What does imparative mean?

"Imperative" has two main meanings:

1. As a grammatical term:

* Imperative refers to a verb form used to give a command, make a request, or express a strong suggestion.

* Examples: "Close the door." "Please wait here." "Go now!"

2. As an adjective:

* Imperative means something that is absolutely necessary or essential. It implies urgency and importance.
