Do miscellaneous mean good or bad?

"Miscellaneous" doesn't inherently mean good or bad. It simply means "of various kinds" or "of different types."

Think of it like this:

* Good: A miscellaneous collection of delicious desserts (a variety of cakes, cookies, and pies).

* Bad: A miscellaneous collection of broken toys (broken cars, dolls, and building blocks).

The quality of the items within the miscellaneous collection is what determines whether it is good or bad, not the word "miscellaneous" itself.
