What are the three tenses of verbs?

The three main tenses of verbs are:

* Past Tense: Describes actions that happened in the past. (e.g., "I *walked* to the store.")

* Present Tense: Describes actions happening now or generally. (e.g., "I *walk* to the store every day.")

* Future Tense: Describes actions that will happen in the future. (e.g., "I *will walk* to the store tomorrow.")

It's important to note that English also has other verb forms that are often described as tenses, but are technically more accurately described as aspects, such as the present perfect ("I *have walked* to the store") or the past perfect ("I *had walked* to the store").
