What is prosterity?

"Prosterity" is not a recognized English word. You may be thinking of posterity, which refers to:

* Future generations: People who will live after the present time. For example, "He wrote his memoirs hoping they would be read by posterity."

* The descendants of a person: The children, grandchildren, and so on, of someone.

* The state of being famous or remembered in the future: For example, "He built a legacy for himself that will ensure his posterity."
