What does credulous mean?

"Credulous" means easily persuaded to believe something; gullible.

Someone who is credulous is likely to:

* Believe things without sufficient evidence

* Be easily tricked

* Fall for scams or hoaxes

Here are some examples:

* "The salesman was so convincing that the credulous customer bought the product without any hesitation."

* "She was so credulous that she believed everything the fortune teller told her."

The opposite of credulous is skeptical.
