* Lack of humility: Not acknowledging one's own limitations or faults.

* Disregard for others' opinions: Dismissing or ignoring the perspectives of others.

* Self-importance: Believing that one is more significant than others.

* Boastfulness: Excessively praising oneself or one's achievements.

Examples of arrogant behavior:

* Refusing to accept criticism.

* Treating others with disrespect.

Consequences of arrogance:

* Damaged relationships: Arrogance can push people away and harm relationships.

* Missed opportunities: Arrogance can lead to a lack of collaboration and missed opportunities for growth.

* Negative self-image: Despite the outward display of confidence, arrogance can stem from insecurity.

Note: While confidence and self-esteem are healthy qualities, arrogance goes beyond these and becomes a negative trait that can hinder personal and professional growth.
