What part of speech is care?

"Care" can be several parts of speech depending on how it's used in a sentence:

* Noun: "He showed great care for his family." (Here, "care" is the object of the verb "showed")

* Verb: "Please care for your belongings." (Here, "care" is the verb telling someone to take care of something)

* Adjective: "I'm not feeling very care-free today." (Here, "care-free" is an adjective describing how the speaker is feeling)

To determine the part of speech, you need to look at how it's used in the sentence.
