What is an interoggative pronoun?

An interrogative pronoun is a pronoun used to ask a question. They are words like:

* Who

* Whom

* Whose

* What

* Which

These pronouns are used to stand in for a noun that we want to know more about.

Here are some examples:

* Who is going to the party? (Asking about a person)

* Whom did you see at the park? (Asking about the object of a verb)

* Whose book is this? (Asking about possession)

* What is your favorite color? (Asking about a thing)

* Which one do you want? (Asking about a choice from a group)

Key points to remember about interrogative pronouns:

* They always start a question.

* They take the place of a noun in the question.

* They can be the subject or object of the verb in the question.
