What is the rule for making plurals of words ending in a vowel then y?

There's no special rule for words ending in a vowel followed by "y". They simply add an "s" to become plural.

Here are some examples:

* boy - boys

* toy - toys

* monkey - monkeys

* valley - valleys

* journey - journeys

Important Note: This applies only if the "y" is preceded by a vowel. If the "y" is preceded by a consonant, the plural is formed by changing the "y" to "ies". For example:

* baby - babies

* city - cities

* story - stories
