What part of speech is grounded?

"Grounded" can be several parts of speech depending on its context:

* Adjective: Describing something that is connected to a real situation, practical, or based on facts. Example: "The project needs to be grounded in reality."

* Verb (past participle): Describing something that has been prevented from going somewhere or doing something. Example: "She was grounded for a week after staying out late."

* Verb (past tense): Same as past participle. Example: "He grounded the plane safely."

To determine the part of speech, you need to look at the sentence it's used in and understand its function.
