Is there such thing as a word dryish?

"Dryish" is not a standard word in formal English. It's more of a colloquial or informal term used to describe something that is slightly dry.

Here's how it's used:

* "The cake was a bit dryish." (meaning it wasn't completely dry but wasn't as moist as it could be)

* "The weather is dryish today." (meaning it's not raining, but not as dry as a typical desert climate)

While not "wrong," "dryish" is considered informal and might be better replaced with a more formal equivalent like "somewhat dry," "slightly dry," or "a bit dry."
