What parts of speech is strongly?

"Strongly" can be two parts of speech:

* Adverb: This is the most common usage. It modifies a verb, adjective, or another adverb, indicating the intensity or force of the action or quality.

* Adjective: It can occasionally function as an adjective, particularly in informal language, describing something that is strong or intense.

Here are some examples:

Adverb:

* He strongly believes in the power of education. (modifies the verb "believes")

* The coffee is strongly brewed. (modifies the adjective "brewed")

* She argued strongly against the new policy. (modifies the adverb "argued")

Adjective:

* The team had a strongly worded letter to send to the board. (describes the letter's strength)

The context will usually determine which part of speech is intended.
