What does soundless mean?

"Soundless" means making no sound, or without sound.

It can be used to describe:

* A place or environment: "The library was soundless, except for the gentle ticking of the clock."

* A person or thing: "The ninja moved with soundless steps."

* An action: "The snow fell soundlessly."

It's the opposite of noisy, loud, or sonorous.
