What WORD as eight consonants?

This is a bit of a tricky question! Here's why:

* "Word" itself has vowels: The word "word" contains the vowel "o".

* English words need vowels: To be a true English word, it needs at least one vowel sound to be pronounceable.

So, there's no real English word that has eight consonants. It's a bit of a word puzzle!
