Do you capitalize the name of a beach in sentence?

Generally, you capitalize the names of specific beaches, just like you would capitalize the names of other places.

Here are some examples:

* We spent the day at South Beach.

* Waikiki Beach is a popular tourist destination.

* The beach was crowded with people.

Notice that in the last example, "the beach" is not capitalized because it's not referring to a specific beach.

It's always best to check a style guide or dictionary if you're unsure about the capitalization of a particular place name.
