What part of speech is strong?

"Strong" can be several parts of speech depending on how it's used in a sentence:

* Adjective: Describing a noun (e.g., "He has strong muscles.")

* Adverb: Modifying a verb, adjective, or another adverb (e.g., "The coffee was strong, but she drank it anyway.")

* Noun: Referring to the quality of being strong (e.g., "The team's strength was its defense.")

To determine the part of speech, look at the context and how the word functions in the sentence.
