Who invented profanity?

There's no single person who invented profanity. It's a natural part of human language that has evolved over time and across cultures. Here's why:

* Profanity is deeply rooted in human psychology: We use taboo language for various reasons, including expressing strong emotions, asserting dominance, bonding with others, and even humor. These are all basic human needs.

* Languages change: Words shift in meaning and connotation over time. What was once acceptable might become offensive, and vice versa. New slang and expressions emerge constantly.

* Cultures differ: What is considered profane in one culture might be completely harmless in another.

So, rather than an "inventor," profanity is a product of human nature, language evolution, and cultural norms.
