Is wave a pronoun verb adj or adverb?

"Wave" can be a few different things, depending on how it's used:

* Noun: A wave of water, a wave of people, a wave of the hand.

* Verb: To move your hand back and forth as a greeting, to move in a wave-like pattern.

* Adjective: Describing something that is wave-like.

It is NOT a pronoun. Pronouns are words that replace nouns (like "he," "she," "it," "they").

To determine the part of speech, you need to see it in a sentence:

* "The ocean wave crashed against the shore." (Wave is a noun)

* "She waved goodbye to her friend." (Wave is a verb)

* "The wave-shaped design was very intricate." (Wave is an adjective)
