What part of speech is hip?

"Hip" can be a few different parts of speech depending on how it's used:

* Adjective: Describing something fashionable, cool, or trendy. Example: "Those jeans are so hip."

* Noun: The joint where the leg joins the pelvis. Example: "He hurt his hip playing basketball."

* Verb: To move the hips in a rhythmic way, especially while dancing. Example: "She was hipping to the music."
