What part of speech is satire?

Satire itself is not a part of speech. It's a literary device or a mode of writing.

However, satire can be expressed through various parts of speech, depending on the context:

* Noun: "The article was a scathing satire of modern politics."

* Verb: "The comedian satirized the politician's speech."

* Adjective: "The play was a satirical commentary on societal norms."

So, while satire itself isn't a part of speech, it's a technique that can be implemented using different grammatical categories.
