What is hetoronyms?

You're probably thinking of heteronyms, not "hetoronyms"!

Heteronyms are words that are spelled the same but have different pronunciations and meanings.

Here are some examples:

* bow (to bend at the waist) vs. bow (a weapon)

* lead (a heavy metal) vs. lead (to guide)

* minute (a small amount of time) vs. minute (very small)

* tear (a drop of liquid from the eye) vs. tear (to rip)

These words can sometimes be confusing, but they add a fun element of complexity to the English language.
