Why is the word page a homonym?

"Page" is not a homonym. A homonym is a word that is spelled the same as another word but has a different meaning and often a different pronunciation.

The word "page" can have different meanings, but they are all spelled and pronounced the same:

* A single sheet of paper in a book: "Turn to page 10."

* A person employed to carry messages or run errands: "The king's page brought him a letter."

* To call upon a person: "He paged his doctor."

Since the word "page" has the same spelling and pronunciation regardless of its meaning, it is not a homonym.
