Where do you often find an adjective?

You can find adjectives in many places within a sentence! Here are some common locations:

* Before a noun: This is the most common placement.

* Example: "The blue car is parked in the driveway." (blue describes the car)

* After a linking verb: Linking verbs connect the subject of a sentence to a description of the subject.

* Example: "The movie was boring." (boring describes the movie)

* After a noun: This is less common, but can be used for emphasis or to provide additional information.

* Example: "The car, shiny and new, was a dream come true." (shiny and new describe the car)

* In a noun phrase: An adjective can be part of a phrase describing a noun.

* Example: "The brightly colored house stood on the hill." (brightly colored describes the house)

Remember: Adjectives modify nouns, providing more information about them.
