What is the larva of an aphid?

The larva of an aphid is called a nymph.

Aphids undergo incomplete metamorphosis, meaning they don't have a distinct larval stage like butterflies or beetles. Instead, they hatch from eggs as nymphs, which resemble miniature versions of the adult aphids.

These nymphs molt several times as they grow, eventually becoming winged or wingless adults.
