What is contigous?

"Contiguous" means adjacent or touching. It describes things that are physically connected, without any gaps or spaces in between.

Here are some examples:

* Contiguous land: Two pieces of land that share a common border.

* Contiguous memory: In computer science, a block of memory locations that are directly next to each other.

* Contiguous states: States that border each other without any other state in between.

* Contiguous data: A set of data points that are ordered and follow each other without any gaps.

The opposite of "contiguous" is discontinuous or non-contiguous. This describes things that are separated or have gaps between them.
