Can you say the simile as comfortable a sofa?

It's not quite right to say "a simile as comfortable as a sofa." Similes are comparisons using "like" or "as."

You could use a simile to describe something as comfortable as a sofa like this:

* "The chair was as comfortable as a sofa."
