What does ngui mean in kikuyu?

"Ngui" in Kikuyu means "you". It's the informal way of addressing one person.

Here are some examples of how it might be used:

* Ngui uthuri - You are good.

* Ngui unaienda wapi? - Where are you going?

* Ngui ndio uliyefanya hivyo? - Did you do that?

Important Note: It's important to remember that using the informal "ngui" is appropriate for friends, family members, or people you're close to. When addressing someone older, in a formal setting, or someone you don't know well, it's more respectful to use the formal "wewe".
