Can you say homeworks or is it always singular?

"Homework" is always singular. It refers to the work assigned to students to be done outside of the classroom.

Even though it refers to multiple assignments, it's treated as a single concept.

So, you would say:

* "I have a lot of homework tonight."

* "Did you finish your homework?"

You would not say "homeworks".
