What are the letters in German alphabet?

The German alphabet is based on the Latin alphabet and has 26 letters, the same as the English alphabet:

A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z.

However, there are some key differences:

* "Ä, Ö, Ü" are considered separate letters, not just modifications of A, O, and U. They are found at the end of the alphabet.

* "ß" is a special letter called "Eszett" and is found at the end of the alphabet. It's a ligature of "ss" and pronounced like a "s" sound.

Therefore, when you consider all letters, the German alphabet has 30 letters:
